Clan Functions & Description: In the modern day world the Meiyo Clan is known throughout Kumo, although this is primarily for their interesting appearances and their kekkai genkai. People of the clan are all born naturally skinny due to their high metabolism. This leads them to be fit their entire lives. They also have pronounced canines that seem to poke out under their upper lip. This is just a unique trait that they all seem to have. Another unique trail of this clan lie within their eyes. Comparatively to a normal person’s eye color, a Meiyo’s tend to be far more vibrant or prismatic. An example would be instead of blue, they would be more like sapphire etc.
The clan itself had always been located within the Land of Lightning. However, they only officially decided to reside within the Hidden Cloud under strenuous circumstances. When the Hidden Cloud had attempted to steal a Byakugan from the Hyuuga clan of Konoha, they were worried about retaliation from their actions. Thus, the Meiyo clan moved to join Kumo officially as a means to better protect the village. Of course the Meiyo still had shinobi before these events, but not nearly as many as you will find today.
Through the years, some of the highest officials within the Hidden Cloud have been from the Meiyo clan, although there never has been a Kage from them. Many from the clan have joined the ranks of the shinobi, and some have even made a name for themselves, but this is not all that they do around the village. Among the Meiyo who work outside the clan you will also find high ranking political figures. Most who do not become shinobi do take up jobs around their subterranean clan compound, becoming doctors, tailors, blacksmiths, or in general anything that’s needed to better the clan.
Kekkai Genkai/Hidden Technique Description: The Meiyo are gifted with an enhanced body that is phenomenal in many ways. Increased speed, endurance, strength, stamina, and lung capacity. With this they also have enhanced eye sight and night vision. On top of these traits they have a metabolism that burns calories at an increased rate. This means they have an increased stockpile of energy, and their naturally physically fit body. A second trait of their metabolism is that it allows them to eat and digest anything as food. This meaning they could eat a stick just for a fiber if the need ever arose.
The increase in their speed, endurance, and strength puts the Meiyo on par with those of the rank above them. The increased lung capacity allows them to hold their breath longer as well as have higher stamina for running and fighting. Enhanced eye sight gives them perfect vision which is twice the vision of a normal persons, as well as allowing them to see in what would be described as “high definition.” Their night vision allows them to see in the night as if it was day time, although this is only at 20/20.
Within the Meiyo is a latent ability that is known as Tenshi no katachi. This is a rare form that can only be unlocked and reactived in times of great desperation and strife, or reliving that moment as if it were happening all over again. When this form is activated it causes a few physical transformations as well as a boost to the user. The physical transformation can be noticed in the user’s eyes as well as teeth. The eyes will change color from their vibrate shades to a brilliant silver. The user’s teeth will become more sharp and animalistic. The boost that Tenshi no katachi causes is that all of the user’s physicals aspects are increased by three fold.
It is extremely rare for a Genin to unlock this ability (Creator Permission, and the thread needs to meet the requirements.) due to the stress they’d have to face. Chunin are more likely to be able to unlock this but it is still uncommon. Jounin are the ones who on average will unlock their Kekkai Genkai, but in these times of peace just as many do not. Once this ability is unlocked, it can be activated on command by revisiting that past memory of the time it was unlocked. The older you are the easier it is to activate it.

Description: This jutsu is a concussive blast of chakra that emits from a roar the user lets out. The roar is the sound the chakra makes as it is let out of the mouth. The damage is more from what you hit, as anything under 800 pounds or that is not rooted into the ground will be blown away.
