The Land of FireKonohagakure (“Village Hidden in the Leaves”), also known as Konoha, is the hidden village within the Land of Fire. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage known as the Hokage. The faces of all former and current Kage are engraved on the rock formation overlooking Konohagakue. The origin of Konohagakure is that the village was formed as part of an alliance between the Uchiha and Senju clans. Within the Fire Country you will find the Forest of Death, a large grated forest used for the biyearly ninja exams in which ninja can advance to the rank of Chunin. Inside the village itself is Ichiraku Ramen Bar, a favorite place to eat among the younger generations. Back outside you will find the Final Valley that was the location of the fight between the two founders of the village, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. Large statues of the two of them overlook a waterfall in the center.

The Land of LightningKumogakure (“Village Hidden in the Clouds”), also known as Kumo, is the hidden village within the Land of Lightning. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage known as the Raikage. The land itself is largely composed of numerous mountain ranges, the village located on a high mountain, literally in the clouds. In the past there has been strenuous relations with other villages due to different actions and the fact that even in times of peace they do not reduce the size of their military. However, in recent times their relations have improved.

The Land of WindSunagakure ("Village Hidden Among Sand"), also known as Suna, is the hidden village within the Land of Wind. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage known as the Kazekage. Being surrounded by desert offers the village a natural defense against invasion and attacks. The village itself is found within a fortified valley behind cliffs of rock, with passage restricted to a single cleft between two cliff faces. Within the Wind Country you will find the Demon Desert, a large rocky desert area used for the biyearly ninja exams in which ninja can advance to the rank of Chunin.

The Land of WaterKirigakure (“Village Hidden in Mist”), also known as Kiri, is the hidden village within the Land of Water. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage known as the Mizukage. The land itself is composed of many different islands that each have their own unique traditions and ways of life. A defining feature of the land being the mist that shrouds it. The village itself also had claim to the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, the strongest group of ninja in the village, and who were signified by the unique swords that they carried.

The Land of StoneIwagakure (“Village Hidden among the Rocks”), also known as Iwa, is the hidden village within the Land of Earth. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage known as the Tsuchikage. The rocky mountain ranges that surround the village provide a natural stronghold for defense. The village’s infrastructure is built from much of the surrounding rock and stone, shaped into tower-like structures that are inter-connected by a network of bridges. Inside the village itself you will find the Stone Monument. This is the symbol of Iwagakure.
